Is one of the functions of meetings between top level world leaders to:

1) see how they look?

2) see how they drink?

3) listen to their jokes?

4) Or is it to Learn something new ...like a secret?

Nothing like looking a despot in the eye and telling him we are watching you and you are trying our patience.

Russia is not the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union was a world super power that was brought to its knees by Ronnie Reagan's Star Wars feint and economic warfare.

    It doesn't exist anymore.

Russia is a third rate country with two items of economic value: its natural resources and its thuggery. It is happy to export either.

They have the GDP of Italy. And should be treated accordingly.
