'cause I need a good *-kickin'!

I'm thinking about buying a boat, so I need a good tune-up!

Best bring your big-boy pants, 'cause I don't want anybody hitting like a little girl!

Who's first? [:D]

I'm in the middle of working a deal, on a boat, and I know I shouldn't do this. [B)][B)][8]

What's the worst thing that can happen -- I throw thousands of $$$ down the drain? It's only money, right? [:p]

I love boats, as long as you have unlimited funds to put into them.

They say that the happiest day of a man's life is the day he buys a boat.

The 2nd happiest day of his life is the day he sells it.

Raced Boats, went to College to Go to Sea on Beeeg Boats. Maintained Big and Little Boats for Years.

I Really, Really Enjoy Boats, cause I know and Understand them. The Favorite way I enjoy Boats is to enjoy OTHER FOLKS' Boats!

(But, I went and Bought a Plane........) Have since recovered.

My father said if you want a boat....it will save you money in the end if you buy the stinkin' boat, give it to a friend and BORROW it when you want it.

What is the old saying...."you think the best day of your life is the day you buy a boat...until you come to the day you SELL your boat."

Think of all the guns you could buy instead! What a bad idea. Not only does your idea suck, but so does your mama.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

    I've owned several.
    Liked most of them.
    Loved one of them.
The one I loved I showed to a bunch of people. Sold it to a couple who I knew would also love her and run her hard. For less than the offers I had stacked on my answering machine.

So I will part with the conventional wisdom.

Tell us about the boat. Please.

Here, I bought this one, in this video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad6-Is2zkYY

    It's a 2009 Glastron GT, 205 (that's 20'8"), with XL trim, red/white, in color, Volvo/Penta outdrive/5.0 220HP.

Anyway, I've come to learn that if you withdraw more than $10,000, the bank reports it to the federal government. I thought it was on deposits? Oh well, I guess I'll be going to jail for buying a boat. [:D]

    Good for you!!!
I'm sure you know all the osmotic issues with fiberglass and trailer stored v in the water v on a rack.
So I'm going to guess that you did your homework and got a solid bargain on a good quality used boat.

20 feet can be a lot of boat.

Enjoy the heck out of it!!!

Oh. And the money laundering controls and reporting are far more sophisticated and pervasive than you can imagine. $10k is just what you're told about. [;)]
