I am looking for a laser for a keltec 380 and a keltec pf9 any ideas? I think it will improve wifes accuracy. Right now she keeps the 9mm with her. My thinking she will not be on target as much as me and a bigger round would help some. If she would clean her pocket book out i could get her a mac 10.[:D]

    Does it have a rail.?

If so, have a look at the SureFire X400.

Just got one for my Rem 700 XCR Compact .308Win - just for kicks.
    And it's looking GOOD.

You are going to have a problem getting just one to swap around, if that's your intention.

    The .380 doesn't have a rail, the PF9 has a 'mini' rail.

Crimson Trace makes a nice one called Laserguard, but it's two different models for those guns, and they ain't cheap.

LG430 is for the .380, and LG435 is for the PF9,.......I think!

best thing to improve her accuracy at self defense ranges is practice, shooting from retention at 1 yard, and quickly moving to full stance at 3,5,7 yards

retention is typically done at arms length elbow touching your body, if you dont practice that one you will develop the urge to push the gun outward

She shoots ok but i cant get her to shoot as much as i want her too. She does not like shooting in the yard because she says its to dangerous.

    Just my 2cents...

I think the best thing you could do to inprove her accuracy is to put the 380 back in the safe. One day at the range with my wife, she asked me "exactly how many guns do you own?". I realized that I was confusing the heck out of her with the features of each instead of just concentrating on getting her better at what we were trying to accomplish.

If she is only practicing with the weapon she will be carrying, I'm betting she'll get pretty good with it.

Whatever time you can get her to spend, will be time well spent.

Unless of course, she's been practicing an NY reload.
