Nikon p223 9x40 scope.

Good evening to all. Im in need of a mount that will allow me short range practice as well as long, will i need two types of mounts? Also I want to be able to clean the rifle with easy on and off option on the mount. the folks of at bass pro recommended the p-series from nikon.
Please advise. Thank you.

    Burris PEPR or Rock River Arms forward mount.
    Essentially the same thing. Screws are designed to be tightened with a nickel.

    And I'm assuming that you are referencing a Nikon 3-9x40?
