    That would be cool to be on board when they do that.

    I would like to see that piece of scrap the Chinese bought from the Russians do that. The darn thing would probably fall apart like a walmart toy.

    Came close once, only the runway was fixed and the plane was almost on it's side. A friend lost it on approach.

    I was aboard the USS Antietam CG54 Guided Missile Cruiser years ago during sea trials off the Calif coast. It was quite an experience.

    They did high speed turns and weapons tests. We also got to watch helo's deliver missiles to the ship from the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. We toured the CIC, but cameras had to be turned off. One of the officers told us that if the ship directed all it's radars toward the coastline, it could blow out all the televisions in the area.

    The only thing that's more fun than sea trials is REFTRA. [:D]

    I hope everybody was secured for sea. Them bird farm riders ain't used to them kind of turns.

    What I'd really like to see is the meeting of the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Department Heads after sea trials, where the Department Heads try to explain why everything went wrong. [:D]
