    Indianapolis is a big city. And it has big city problems. (It's actually a bigger city than Atlanta.- believe it or not). I originally wrote "issues" instead of "problems" above. And I changed it back, to be a little more genuine.

    Like any big city, be aware of your surroundings. Be careful. Don't leave valuables in plain sight. (In a car or on your person).

    I moved to Indy from Atlanta several years ago. And Indianapolis has a downtown presence that is a model for revitalization of an urban area. But it doesn't mean it is any safer than any other big city downtown. It means that there are a lot of folk moving around and conducting business - instead of rolling up the streets at night.

    You still have to exercise good judgement.

    And Indiana honors almost everyone else's carry permits. So keep whatever passes for a license close at hand. And enjoy the circle city!!
