I have a buddy who has a son that is a starting freshman at NC State here in Raleigh.
Freshman have to live in a dorm on campus.
He has started and the last week was all about diverschity, getting along with lbgtqrf weirdo's and safe words to use.
I talked to him for about an hour today, what a load of BS these kids are getting pumped full of[V]
They have a free speech area. They have a lgbtqrf Dorm and a bl*ck area for African discussions. I should go the African area so I can tell them about the wonders of Africa. I doubt any of the idiots there have ever even been to Africa.

Yep, no better than the scum at the University of Texas.
I hope they don't screw up their Veterinary College. That's a good school that doesn't need any of those kinds of improvements.
The veterinary college is probably being instructed into how to determine what sex a cow identifies as.

Freshman have to live in a dorm on campus. It was preferred when I went, but not required due to the overcrowding. Its a great idea to get them involved in the whole college experience.

Understanding that everyone isn't like you, nor do they think the way you might, is an important part of growing up. You got to be able to deal with it to be successful in this world. Like it or not.

They have a free speech area. There were several when I was there. The free expression tunnel was a walkway under the railway tracks a hundred or more yards long where anyone with a can of paint could express their thoughts or paint over anyone else's thoughts. It was awesome. Had a Forestry student who did a core sample of the wall and got to 18" of paint. I'm pretty sure they scraped it since I was there or you couldn't walk through it by now. The "brickyard" was also available to anyone with a soapbox and the balls to stand on it and talk. I've seen scores of evangelists, communists and skin heads draw a crowd. And most, eventually, slink away with their tails between their legs after some NCSU shout backs. Proud of my school on the right to speak, and be told to "shut up" by an audience. They have a lgbtqrf Dorm and a bl*ck I think you can type black without fear area for African discussions. I should go the African area so I can tell them about the wonders of Africa. If its the same place as when I was there, it would have Thurgood Marshall spinning in his grave to see the application of Brown v Board of Education in real life. I got no defense for this one. I am ashamed of my alma matter on this point.
