Was downstate this morning and the water was coming up over the bulkheads and many roads were flooding out already and it did not hit high tide yet. Not good at all

Supposedly people are living in abandoned and unused subway tunnels.
We were in Manhattan a few weeks ago and can confirm the place needs a good flushing followed by a new immigration policy.

out here when a storm hits many get out and start clean up and repair..back there before it gets real bad all the mooches start crying for the govt to throw out buckets of money...one blizzard here and many power lines were down i towed a REA bucket truck around for two days till they got it fixed and opened roads the twp patrol couldn't get thru ...they said send a bill, i said no charge...some others 4wd tractors opened roads to town and helped clear streets...no big deal

Actually, besides a large cockroach and bedbug problem there's supposed to be a large rat population in the city.
A real flush might be a good thing.
No one mentioned Fire Island, a strip of land off Long island.
It has little freeboard and may just disappear.
