    The sad thing is that Nixon won by a landslide in 1972 and the entire Committee to Reelect The President (CREEP), Watergate, The Plumbers and all of the related nightmare were for nothing. A crook? Well he was a very smart man but he was extremely insecure and he did a number of very stupid things...And paid the price. His VP Spiro Agnew on the other hand was a real crook: Tax evasion and bribery,

    Thankfully Agnew was replaced with someone of character. A man of the people.
