I use it with my suppressor.

Winchester is pretty consistant so is Aguilla (sp).
    Remington not so much.

Need to try each out remember one I found was louder than normal round.

Do know the Aguilla is quite and the sub sonic is very accurate as its used in a lot of indoor ranges for match shooting.

Just checked what I have Eley is also very good. The loud stuff is the Remington 22 Subsonic

Just looked at my Aguila seems its also part of Eley. Mine is SSS Sniper Subsonic but 60 Gr

sub-sonic aren't much quieter than a LR in a pistol. I shoot CCI CB Longs in a 22" Contender, pretty quiet. I've killed a couple of groundhogs, * and a bunch of porkeys.

Yep, I use Aquila 38 grain hollow point with my Savage/suppressor [8D]

Never tried mine in a pistol. But have an old Marlin take down. With the good stuff in it, it makes less noise than my pellet gun.

The sub sonic are primarily target rounds- for quiet the BB & CBs are great. CCI CBs are accurate and quiet in a Ruger Mark I, but don't cycle the action, so it's basically a straight pull bolt action. Works well on gophers.

All I shoot for accuracy in my Savage bolt gun. Either CCI SV (1070fps advertised), Winchester 40gr SS HP loads, Remington 38gr SS HP, CCI SS HP, or CCI Quiet.

I use CCI Standard with my supressors.

I very very rarely have one go supersonic.

Mine don't like any of the Aguilla subs.
Winchester, and Nobel perform the same to me but the Winchesters have a deeper hollow-point and knock the twitch out of pigeons
Remington is OK, at least it cycles reliably

Standard velocity target type ammo is all sub-sonic. Eley 10X EPS, CCI std velocity, wolf match target and Agulia match do not exceed 1070 FPS at sea level from a 24" barrel.

In a pistol they are even slower.

The CCI sub. has an unusual profile and will not feed in many guns.

I use the following Sub Sonic ammo's:

    Semi-auto w/suppressor
    CCI Standard Velocity
    CCI Sub Sonic
    Remington Sub Sonics
    Aquila Super Extra Sub Sonic

All of these ammo's are 1050-1070 fps and operate semi auto. You have to have a min 1025 fps to operate semi's. I give these brands an excellent rating in accuracy and I am plenty happy with snapping turtles heads off at 150 ft.

Revolvers, Pump, Lever or Bolt action Rifles
CCI CB Shorts or CB Long
    Aquila SSS (Sniper Sub Sonic)
    Aquila Colbri for handguns**
Aquila Super Colbri for short barrel rifles**

** These two rounds have no gunpowder, they fire from the primer only. They have great accuracy out to I dunno, maybe 10 yards.

I prefer the CB Longs, I recycle .22 brass. There is a tad more brass and cost the same as CB short. The accuracy is the same with all the above which I rate as excellent.

EDIT: I would like to add that while the S&W M&P 15-22 owners manual states not to use ANY sub sonic ammo, I have found mine seems to have no issues what so ever with any of the above.

    Guns I use are.

    Semi's:

    S&W 422*
    Walther P22*
    S&W M&P 15-22*
    Ruger 10-22FS*
    Marlin Model 60

    Revolver:
    Heritage Single Six

    Lever:
    Henry

    Bolt:
    Western Auto
    Winchester Model 60a

    Pump:
    Reminigton 572 Fieldmaster

    * = Suppressed

That's my 2 cents. Hope it helps.
