anyone else get very annoyed by the constant changing criteria of passwords needed online ?
ok sure its a good idea to not use the same pw for everything, but damn some require a capitol letter, and a number, certain length etc etc, then have a typo and get locked out, then after a reset you cannot reuse the old one, I have 1 company I work for that require it to change every 90 days whether you like it or not
my home ins, I have to reset it every single month, its ridiculous
I cant keep up with them, so I have a notebook, to me that makes it unsecure defeating the whole darn purpose

Google can show you several. Here's one

but, case sensitive and numbers will not make it all that more difficult for a good hacker
I was referring to have 25 different passwords because constantly having to change them, as I said 1 company I have requires it to be changed every 90 day, so I have had to change it 24 times already

it stores your passwords, you can double click on a pwd to copy to clipboard, then it erases your clipboard after a few seconds for security. and it generates passwords. however long or complex you specify.
no hassle to change a pwd every 90 days because you just click a button.
My system is even less secure than what you're doing. I have a shortcut to a word page with all my passwords on it. I just copy and paste. Some of the .gov sites won't let you paste a password. With those I just simplify the password as much as possible and stay within their "rules".
its more like a passsentence or a passpargraph than a password.
Here is a little info: 99% of "hacking attempts" (successful or not!) have NOTHING to do with user passwords.
No one cares about ONE account. They are going after admin stuff, NOT user stuff.
All of this password changing is just to make the users feel "safe". That is all.
The "bad guys" want in the system as an admin/god type, NOT as a user!
Don't use the same password, just in case. I use LastPass, and it is fantastic! Free, too, on the computer! ($12 a year on my cell phone!)
