Guess you weren't ever 20 years old and liked to go to a party now and then. As for the beer throwing, some Longhorns are just plain upset that Texas A&M, who wasn't suppose to do squat in the SEC, kicked some butt. They don't like that A&M has dethroned the longhorns in college football in the Great State of Texas.

Johnny Football will be all right. He isn't doing anything we didn't do as a 20 year old. We just have social media now that instantly sends it all over the world.

Thank God social media wasn't around when I was younger. I'd have a lot of explaining to do! [;)]

    I agree completely with you!

I never went to frat parties at a rival school.

Never been caught in a happy bar

Never been reprimanded by my school or coach

Never won a heisman and let it go to my head

Never had to leave an event because I partied too hard.

Never made a mockery of the conference that allowed me to exhibit my skills to the world

I don't go around getting thrown out of bars

Never left a game at my home stadium and found my tire slashed.

He is immature , over blown ego and his handlers and coaches can't seem to keep him on a leash

But I guess all that's ok because he plays football.

And Tx does care about A&M.

Matter of fact, if am had stayed put they would have played a better bowl game and possibly in the title game. Screwed themselves all the way around.

And johnny football is going to the draft next season. So his lack of respect shows his heart is not at AM

I am with you- I think the Aggie faithful as a whole don't have much trouble questioning his conduct off the field. Particularly in the last 6 months.

Moving to the SEC was the best possible move for the Aggies. Yes, JF will most likely be moving on. His ultimate goal is the NFL. I don't think he will last very long in the NFL due to his size and style of play, but I wish him the best. Entering the NFL draft has a lot to do with timing and what your stock is worth at that time.

The Aggie fans have questioned JF's decisions off of the field. Most of his "indiscretions" are nothing worse than what most of us had gotten into at that age. It is just magnified for him because he won the Heisman Trophy and social media records his every move.

    Just my $0.02.

    Gig'em!

But you do take pleasure in another's misery. Obvious by the title of this thread.

I don't think he is miserable. Just stupid. I think he has talent, while not heisman talent, and it seems he is throwing it away.

I am really laughing more at his supporters and backers than him. All those who talked smack about Johnny Football and how great he is. He has 4 weeks better geter done.

He needs to recognize that he is a target now and act accordingly. Others will do what they can to tear him down because of their envy.

He has real athletic talent. I hope he gets a mentor that can keep on a straight path. He is young, hopefully he will mature.

Did you watch the A&M vs Alabama game last year? Or A&M's bowl game?

I'm not an A&M fan, but Johnny Football dominated games last year. The question is: Can he do it again this year?

Alot of people with more knowledge than us disagreed.

He reminds me of Doug Flutie, for some reason

Yeah I saw the game and I saw Bama do something they rarely do. TGhey gave up 21 points. I also watched them come back to nearly win on the past play of the game.

To say A&M was the ONLY reason for the 21-0 is a bit misleading. Bama had a rough start. Very rough start. Understandably after having played 3 ranked teams in as many weeks? A&M coming off an easy win the previous week and a Bi the week earlier.

Like I said, I think he has talent. I do not think he is all this and the bag of chips. Bama had as much to do with the loss as A&M did getting the win. Let me see what A&M looks like after playing 3 ranked teams in a row.
