are our friends or not since they are about 10 bucks higher for 100 rds of Win 45 than Walley World. Just asking and they had about everything in stock except 22lr. WW had a good supply of ammo about 3 pm but no 22lr

Nobody opens a store to make friends. You open a store to make money.

businesses have overhead. If it cost them more, it's gonna cost us more. Big box stores have long since been consumers friends. Mom and pop shops are no different, there are no friends in todays market. And there will be even less in the future with this no receipt no return policy that Best Buy and Target has been pushing, and now Mfg are telling people not to return stuff to the store, call them for the parts or repair. This is will only lead to a you buy it you own it policy. And it is right around the corner as mfg and retailers try to streamline and increase profits.

I dont know about y'all, but if I buy it and it's broke, it goes back tot he store. I didn't buy it to use 3-5 days from now. If they can't get it right from the factory the first time, I have no faith in their ability to do it right the second try.

Ammo at Cabelas is, in most cases, an add on sale.
Ammo at Wal Mart is more like a loss leader.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Cabela's spends too much money on things like fancy, hard-cover seasonal catalogs. If they'd eliminate some fluff they could ask more reasonable prices for their products.

Don't like 'em, don't shop there. They will get the message if enough folks agree with you.

Best Buy's return policy has been onerous since they opened. I refuse to shop there.

You are right! What is odd is when we had Bass Pro in grapevine they had affordable guns and ammo. They opened one in Garland and the good deals disappeared from both stores!

The exact same thing happened to Cabela's. When they were in Ft Worth, you could get smoking deals on ammo almost any day you walked in the door. They opened up in Allen and no deals on guns or ammo.
