Wal Mart and 7.62x39

Went in Sat and they must have had at least 500 rds maybe 600 rds on the shelf. I bought two. It's the most I have seen since before Sandy Hook. Heck more then I used to see normally. I am sure it will sell out by Sunday night though.

The lady at the check out after I mentioned why I had a wal mart bag already told me her husband works in the back and she told me the ammo they are getting in was manufactured TWO years ago.

Make sense of that one for me!

Talking about Russian ammo? They could be digging into old military warehouses to get a piece of the action in the American Ammo Panic. Ship us their old stuff while they restock with new stuff on our money.

I don't believe any Walmart employee. Also you can't believe everything you hear on the business end of the gun shop counter.

I've never seen Russian milsurp 7.62 x 39. Everything I have bought was new commercial ammo made for export.

Is there a date stamp on the 2 boxes you bought?

Bad at math but closest I can figure is 22 cents for two rds out of the 20 in the two boxes I bought.

Went back for one more box tonight since I had to break a 20 and they have more ammo out. 45 APC, 9mm, 380, .223, some other stuff they normally sell out of pretty fast. Still had over 500 rds of Com block 7.62 there.

Chinamart must have quite a relationship with Tula because that is all that can be found around our parts ..

The cases are still empty at 3 different chinamarts in our area. We have not seen any ammo come in either.

You are on to something as Tula Brass is only available at wal mart as well. Or, should I say, it's the only place I have seen it.
