I bought a bunch of knives on an auction site and used fed ex for delivery. They picked up the order it got to the main hub and never left. They gave me my purchase price back. They did not want to pay my shipping expense i was like now im paying you to steel from me. They finally gave me all my money back. The only problem i had was some of the knives was worth alot more than i paid for them. I lost a couple hundred dollars by not being able to resale them. I talked trash to the fed ex man for months. They destroyed a computer I shipped to a customer, it was insured and when I contacted them, I was told it wasn't insurance, it was assurance! And I told them if it was paid in 48 hours I would assure them a lawsuit. 2 days later Fedex delivered an envolope with my check.

    Never used them since.

Insurance is BS no matter who you ship with. USPS, get a life, they will NEVER fork over money!! You are wasting life there. If you have ever read the list of things that doesn't qualify to be insured, its rediculous! Anything non-merchandise? Tickets? Coins? Jewlery none of these are merchandise? DVD's, Movies, ANY THING that is one of kind is not insurable... Fedex requires legal action to sue, and I have never had a claim with UPS, but from what I hear, it's no different.
