This Sheriff had no right to take her permit away, as the judge said.

Hain has said she previously carried her handgun openly to soccer games and practices and other public places without any problem.
I do not know PA law but here in SC a concealed permit does not allow you to carry openly and our laws do not allow open carry at all.

In PA (where I grew up), you can carry openly without a permit and openly or concealed with one. Just like Virginia and Arizona and lots more states. SC needs better laws.

Just so there's no confusion:

I agree. I was only stateing what our local laws in SC are.
Personally when I am carrying in a hip holster I really do not conceal it very well and normally have my coat unzipped to were it does show that I am carrying (but is hidden enuff that I cannot be cited for open carry). If I am carrying my KelTec or my .38 those are in my pocket and are very well hidden.
Funny how there's tons of them around when you don't want them around, but they take an hour or more to get to you when you need them.
Even my county sheriff recommended that I don't have a starter's pistol out in the open because it would mean that I'd be stopped and questioned a lot by his deputies.
By the time my lawyer was finished with him ,there would not be a Proctologist alive that could fix his A-hole.
Colorado has open carry laws. But, you'll find that you'll be stopped harrassed about every six feet you walk by an amazing number of LEOs.

In PA as long as you're legally allowed to own the firearm, you don't need a permit to openly carry it. You just need the permit to conceal it.
Same in Louisiana. We even have a state law preventing localities from passing restrictions on our right to bear arms. Try it. You'll end up in the poky fast. They'll charge you with inciting a riot, then tag you with carrying a firearm while in commission of a crime.
