    Unless something has changed, the only military on Diego Garcia
    are the Brits and the Americans. The last time I was there was
    either 1995 or 1996.

    Ahhh, the joys of coalition warfare. No, that's not true. In 2001-2002 I worked with a detachment of Australian F-18s flying out of DGAR. Several foreign militaries work out of DGAR.

    Problems i see with this story.

    1 phone battery would be dead by then

    2 iphone5 has a flash for its camera, why not take a real pic

    3 why post to a forum vs sending msg to friends or family

    4 low level military would have to be 100% trusted to make this work. They would have seen something.
