Bad behavior for sure but, can't wonder if she was going 56 in a 55 in the pass lane for some time[:0]

It's sad that on other forums people have been blaming the lady for all that just because she didn't get out of his way.

i had a woman flip me off while we both merged into the express lane in saint louis once, only to see her getting pulled over for speeding a few miles up the road, i honked and waved to her as i passed, she was not happy

According to the news, the woman justified her remaining in the "fast" lane while travelling 50 mph in a 55 zone because she intended to turn left at some point; but then it was more important for her to record the fellow than to pay attention to her own driving. so when ever she got to where she was going I hope her owner gave her a full dish of Alpo.

Don't care if she was right or wrong, the guy in the truck eventually passed her on the right, then slowed again, fell back behind and to the right, then sped up again, flipped her the bird, stomped the gas, swerved into the left lane, lost control and wrecked his truck all by his own self.

Nobody put a gun to his head and said "Drive like an angry idiot or else!" He screwed up entirely of his own free will.

you are correct, his wreck was of his own accord

    however

her bigskyredneck school of driving skills leave allot to be desired, and her lies as well

    1. she was busy filming while driving, that had to play a role in angering another driver

    2. there was 1 other truck in the video, i would not call 1 truck boxed in

    3. the road aparently dried up the rain as soon as it hit the ground, and her windshield

edit: i see more women driving and texting, talking on cell phones and in their own world, i have to leave benifit of the doubt that she may have been doing one or the other and not doing even close to the speed limit, in her own world and then realized she was holding up someone elses world and started filming it

I enjoyed that immensely. Courtesy has gone the way of the Dodo bird. Each party is responsible for their piss poor behavior. She has no business tying up traffic by driving below the speed limit in the left lane, and spending her time video taping, intentionally upsetting the other driving rather than driving. While his asinine behavior speaks for itself. They were both antagonizing the situation, she was not some innocent bystander, she was an active participant, intentionally antagonizing the situation with her driving. Folks in on coming traffic are very fortunate that truck didn't hit them head on.

I agree, if she was a courteous driver she'd have been in the right lane allowing people to go by that obviously have places to be. I suspect that since she is recording that there are many other videos that she has made of angry drivers reacting to her impeding traffic. I bet she does it on purpose, and gets a kick out of it.

That crap pizzes me off to no end.

Here in central AL, if you want to drive the
speed limit then your best chance is to get in the slow lanes.

Three lane hwy limit of 55 and the center and left lanes are going 40 mph cause they are on the phone or are planning to turn left at a light 5 miles away.

I get off work at 3pm, my kids step off the bus at 3:30, i get home 5 min before them.
People don't think about stuff like that.

Btw i bet this guy sues her soon, if for nothing but putting his face on the web.

you shoot stupid drivers in the decklid with a suction cup dart.

When they got enough darts in the trunk
a cop would pull them over and give them a ticket for being stupid.

    paintball?

    Good idea.

Another is to have their cell number as their tag number

I'm no expert, but she is on a street, not the interstate. There is no "fast lane/slow lane" on city streets.

Dude was a total azzzhat, had it coming and got it.

Her fault for filming? She was doing it to protect herself and gather evidence should he hit her.

And, BTW, he's the driver who crashed, not her.

I'm no expert, but she is on a street, not the interstate. There is no "fast lane/slow lane" on city streets.Anyone with common sense stays to the right when they see traffic overtaking them on a multi-lane roadway.

As covered in all new drivers training courses, passing other vehicles to the left is a basic safety rule. The only time passing on the right is recommended is when that vehicle is signalling and slowing for a left turn. The reason for this is that under DOT regs passenger side mirrors aren't required on all vehicles, which means a big blind spot may very well exist to the right rear.

True that someone refusing to allow overtaking vehicles to pass to their left may not be violating any laws, but people's ignorance of the basics of defensive driving creates a hazardous situation.

Same as with many situations, just because something isn't against the law doesn't mean it's a smart thing to do.

As for what we're seeing in this video, anyone who sees an obvious * coming up behind them and refuses to get out of their way because no law requires them to is just as big of a *.

Well she was in the left lane just minding her own business when a big ol' brush guard 4 wheel drive come up behind her to help her along. Seen it too many times when folks drive big vehicles they think they own the road. Too bad if one thinks she was driving too slow. She was driving approx what she thought was safe.. slower for conditions because of the rain. Pulling the headlights on while being tailgated sometimes helps.I've seen folks slow down when tailgated. If the rear party wants around they will go around. Who knows what the other lane conditions were. Maybe more water on the highway. Seems it affected the truck. Could have hydroplaned out of control.. fool.. Law can give you a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.

The way I see it neither one of them knows how to operate a motor vehicle and neither one has the sense God gave a pissant. The thing that makes them dangerous is they are both stubborn and vindictive idiots.
