Think the bids are legitimate? (Not GB auction)

This is the car they built on "Loud and Fast" tonight. It is at best a $25,000 car by their own admission. Within 2 hours the bids are over $106,000 with 22 hours to go. Think the bids are genuine or posers wanting to be famous?

If it actually sells for this kind of money I bet more cars will be offered like this.

I could see $20,000, maybe as high as $30,000, but you would have to be nuts to pay more then $50,000 for it, it's over $107,000 now, sounds like a publicity stunt to me

Reading the words "resto-mod" pretty well killed off my desire to read any more of the description. Some vehicles, IMO, should just be kept the hell away from the big wheel/skinny sidewall concept. And no, I don't see it being worth anywhere near what the current bid is. I like the show, but some of the stuff they do just makes me wonder why.

I have to call BS on this one. The few times I have watched that silly show, it is apparent that they are hash artists. This car isn't a ground-up restoration. It is a fast, down-and-dirty once over, with a shiny new paint job.

On a '72 Mustang. Not exactly the high demand era.

No serious collector is going to pay $200k for it.

As has been said, maybe a $30k car. Maybe.

It was on a show so it's worth it's weight in gold.

I'd bet this is the Discovery Channel paying royalties to the show via ebay.
