    Heck yeah! [8D]

Stats or not, Julias Peppers was the MVP of that game. The only way they could keep him off Rodgers was to hold him and he blocked a FG.

Pretty good team effort on both sides in what was a heck of a game though!

    Simpleman,

Years and years of conditioning have taught me to have guarded optimism when my teams are "currently" winning.

A Bear's fan in the fall and a Cub's fan in the spring can make for some loooooooong periods of disappointment; I'm just riding the waves!!!

You should have jumped on the Blackhawk bandwagon last year!!
I've been a Hawks fan for 40+years! Last season was the greatest!! This season is looking to be a good one too!!
    Go Hawks and Bears!!

The Bears didn't win that game the Packers lost it. 18 penalties come on. Just like they beat Detroit. Detroit was robbed of a touchdown just because they were playing in Chicago. Any one else not from Chicago would agree that Detroit got screwed. And just so you know I'm not a Packer fan.

You are preaching to the choir brother. I've been a Cubs fans since 1968 and a Bears fan since 1970.

A Bears fan should be proud if they actually beat the Packers instead of the Packers beating the Packers.

Ditto. Rogers was the better QB last night making almost all his completions. His team gave it away.

It doesn't hurt to have the officials on your side either.....I'd like to see the how the league graded the officiating after that one.

Are you kidding me? Did you actually watch the game? The Packers are lucky they didn't get more holding penalties called on them. They held Julias Peppers almost every play. Which penalty called against them are you debating? I don't remember seeing a single one that shouldn't have been called on either team.

The Packers have a really good team this year, but much like the Bears, they have a horrible O-line and a mediocrore secondary. They will make the playoffs, but not the Superbowl with that.

2 of the Packers starting secondary players are still on the disabled list. The second meeting at Lambeau will be no contest.

Very well said Jon. The Packers fans are just bitter and looking for excuses!! A lot of the penalties called were because the Bears D-line were outplaying the Packers O-line. Intentional grounding, false starts, and pass interference are all by-products of players being beat. 18 penalties! Peppers was held on the Packers first TD, but there was no call. The league keeps an eye on the Packers because the corners play very physical and commit penalties on almost every play. It's just the style they play. How about when the Packers kicked the ball out of bounds? Was that a bad call by the official? Or was there a bad call when Hester ran the punt back?
As far as the Lions game, I think the Lions got screwed because of a stupid rule, however the call was correct.
How about the Cowboys game? in Dallas, was it the Dallas officials that missed the face mask on Cutler? The player was fined $5K for it, but the ref didn't call it.
A game at any level in any sport should never come down to one or two calls by the officials.
    Go Bears!!

    Nope.

The Packers didn't show up with their "A" game and they lost to a team which played a better game. Teams don't "beat themselves", they may not give it 100% of their effort or they may lack discipline (ie... 18 penalties).

I agree the Packers have a better team, but the team they fielded on Monday night was not the better team during those four quarters of play. The Bears walk away with a win. The Packers could not pull it all together that night.

Being a Packers fan, the Packers hurt themselves. The Bears (hurts to say) won simple as that. A win is a win (as our coach said), no matter how ugly it is. Could be the other way around when the Bears are at Lambeau.
