    Eastern Jackson County Missouri gets the same 3/4.We are in great shape food and Booze wise. No need to go outside.

    I agree....I have been iced in out on the farm a couple times over the years. This was the first time I have seen this much Hoopla about the weather and the storm having a name... Either it is truly icemagedon or a slow news day !!!!![:)]

    just east of saint louis, rain turned to ice and back to rain again, just enough to wash away the ice melter

    Was at work at 6:00am this morning. NO One else in my 12 person office showed up. Seems that Scott AFB is 'closed' today, wish I had known. Came home at 9:00 when things started getting icy. Sitting here watching the icesicles grow on my bar-b-que grill....

    Hope it is decent tomorrow. The 3rd Annual Motorcycle Show is happening in St Louis this weekend. I have to attend.

    Had a big ice storm here about 8 years ago. Was without power for about 48 hours. Some family was without for 4 days and some in town were without for a week. Not pleasant with the temps in the mid thirties and wet everywhere that you couldn't seem to dry out.
    Prayers for the safety of all in the storms path.
