Lego gun in School

Another little kid getting expelled because the teacher claimed he made a gun out of lego blocks. From what it looked like on TV was some red & yellow blocks on top of each other that didn't look anything like a gun.
Why are they talking about putting armed guards in schools to keep the nuts out when the nuts are the ones already in the schools teaching the kids? Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!!

    The root of the problem is that these School Board members & School Administrators think their feces smelleth like roses. Why do they even think they can make & enforce these rules?

    I agree.....while I respect the teaching profession and admire the people that make the decision to teach children....there does seem to be a huge affect on most teachers that have been "in power" for any amount of time. It is comparable to what you see in a dictatorship at times. "The all powerful and all knowing has spoken and, therefor, all common sense shall be ignored."

    LF, I learned something in my battling school administration. Find out what local bar the teachers hit. Locally, it's called "Thirsty Thursday" at the local watering hole. Show up there a few times and be sure to engage the teachers in school oriented dialog.

    When the teachers start getting all uppety at school, simply remind them of seeing them half sloshed. You will see a remarkable change of attitude.

    Should have seen the English teacher change her tune when I caught her drinking with underage students at a grad party....
