I have a 12 inch lodge dutch oven. They are having a dutch oven cook off tomorrow for a church activity.

I'm not very experienced with dutch ovens so a recipe and instructions would be helpful.

Pineapple upside down cake or some form of cobbler if it were berry or peach season.

Google has lots of hits for both

We call them "stir-ups". As in pour all the ingredients
in and stir it up then put in over heat.....[:p]

Just throw some bacon in there and fry it till done. Then, while still hot, throw on some chocolate. Dessert is done in 20 min or less.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
