Here's my choice song for the evening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTWKbfoikeg
Kurt owned that guitar. Looks like life was fun for him. He is enjoying jamming in his HS gym with his classmates and some lame * girls posed as cheerleaders. I think one of them actually kept the beat.
still... fun video. And I think Courtney Whore killed his @$$.

You likely wouldn't like what I consider music, either, so it would be a moot point to post it here.
We all have our likes and dislikes. We all have things that we would consider music, and things thst we would consider an assault on our eardrums.
Viva la difference? (sp?) [:D]
Our house was owned by his uncle. It's on the muddy banks of the Wishkah.

Nirvana killed the hair bands dead. Kurt was an outstanding musician and could not handle the fame. They are to this day one of the most influential bands in R&R history.
I agree the stamp bag whore killed him.
Well, we all have our like as far as music is concerned, but that certainly would not be amongst my top 10000.000000.

You would be surprised at the spectrum of music I like and listen to. Have you ever left Phantom of the Opera to race to a Metallica concert? Sure, i was over dressed, but it was cool.
I find new music here all the time, it's why I made the post. I got to thinking about Mr perfect's post few weeks back of Pepper and wanted to hear it again. I think Smells like teen spirit and Pepper are in their own right, brilliant songs.
While watching these clips, they usually have others listed to the side and I find new music that way.
I am in and out of my truck about every 5-6 min. So I listen to talk radio, don't miss much that way. Can't listen to music because soon as something comes on you like, back out of the truck again. Never get the name of the song or the performer. Freaking boring writing down a station and the time of day hoping to hit their website for a time date match to find a song or group.
Here's a band I heard on the way back from the casinos in the late 90's. Cruising I20 half asleep trying to get the groom to the wedding on time.

I mostly like old country, (folk), and old blues.
Drag out Hank, or Dinah Washington. I'm there. Maybe a little Robert Johnson, or A.P. Carter? Uncle Dave Macon?

I actually saw this video today after watching BHsurfers pepper.
Nice! And Thx to Mr Perfect for pointing me to a new song and band (with BHS-Pepper).
While I think very little of Rhianna, she has, no doubt the most beautiful voice in music.

You have to admit, the song is cheese, but it's funny. Dumps like a truck? Really? No way white folk could come up with that.

I drove, and I drank, and I cried, and this song just killed the royal hell out of me. And then, I went home from work, to my children, and my beautiful wife, who was dying from a brain tumor. And I was strong. And, they mostly never knew, that I drank, and cried, and played this song over, and over, and over again. I guess, when you are in tremendous pain, having someone, even musically, to share a bit of it, is some help. Sorry. didn't mean to get weak and sappy yet again.

Macushla. Pulse of my heart. I had some moments with this song. God, I hated it at one time.

While I love his music, none of it is at all technically challenging to play. He was emotionally troubled for many years, long before he ever met Courtney. In fact, she probably extended his stint on the green side, if you ask me. Jamming with his classmates? Yeah, that's satire. I know a gal who went to school with him. He was a total loner and disconnected from the school scene, so the video is entirely satirical.
I think Cobain was truly plagued by the dichotomy of having wild popularity and the fact his music genre was entirely anathema to it. He was troubled by a lot more than that, but it played a part.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
