Fatstrat how much can fall before you have to get up on a ladder and shovel it off?? We have pretty steep angles on the roof here so I didn't have to worry about it--YET--I would bet if we get more than 4" that I better get up there.

I have no idea. Never been in this much snow. I got a new roof, only 3 months old. But it's on a mobile home.

What? Aren't you supposed to ignore up to two weeks of warnings, die and other bad stuff, and then blame it on the government?

Is your mobile home roof a metal one? My mom put on on her manufactured home in OR after Dad passed away because there was no way she would be going up on the roof. Seems to work fine since they don't get tons of snow on the coast. I guess once you start to hear the roof moaning & groaning it's time to get up there lol.

Is Oklahoma considered a southern state ? If so you can just play the victim card, piss and moan about another tragedy, and let the government determine that you need disaster relief while you sit there and let your roof collapse. We don't play that here in NY, we shovel and then shovel more, and deal with it.

Yep, aluminum and fairly flat. Kinda arched. Wind blew it off in Oct. But we got it back up and fastened down good w/a new coating. Hope that'll do it.

Take it all guys we want to share, with ya. What ever you don't take we are getting starting tomorrow afternoon. Right now they are saying 13"- 18", will be a long clean up if we get that much. May try to hire another person to plow with my pickup, I use my skidsteer with a 10' blade. Had the backhoe out today moving old snow, and snowplows and helping the township get ready. Might be real interesting as the wind is supposed to blow with gusts to 45 mph.

EVERYTHING IS CLOSED! Besides Heartland Outdoors gun range. At least they were open at 930. Been out and about yanking some people out of the snow but going home to change and give them a call to make sure they are still open so I can go blast off a few.

Still blowing 30+ mph. snowing a bit. Nothing a guy that grew up around the great lakes cant handle.

    Stay safe

Good. The wind is keeping it almost cleared off. The snow we're getting a dry powdery type.

It's just snow. Not like some death ray is shining down from above.

    SHEESH!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
