Is this country run by idiots? Yes or No.

U.S. officials said Tuesday that increasing instability in Yemen has made it impossible to keep tabs on donated equipment that includes small arms, ammunition, patrol boats and night-vision goggles, according to The Washington Post.

Since then, the U.S. closed its embassy in Yemen and the Defense Department has stopped delivering equipment to the country, including a shipment of $125 million worth of military products scheduled to be delivered earlier this year.

This is the equipment no one can find, The Post reports:
1,250,000 rounds of ammunition
200 Glock 9 mm pistols
200 M-4 rifles
4 Huey II helicopters
2 Cessna 208 transport and surveillance aircraft
2 coastal patrol boats
1 CN-235 transport and surveillance aircraft
4 hand-launched Raven drones
160 Humvees

You guys respond. I need to puke.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

In Iraq they sent 20 billion dollars in cash to get the new government and economy going. Within a few short months they lost account of 8 billion of those dollars. They have been handing out bundles of cash to tribal leaders in northern Iraq recently to sway them to fight Isis.
What part of the Yemen give aways are you surprised about ?

Yes, this is truly disgusting. Imagine had that cash been returned to tax payers or returned to those we borrowed it from. This is nothing more than organized crime and redistribution of wealth.

Run by evil people; facilitated by idiots.

I think I could agree with that.

Mike, I understand your frustration, but not voting is exactly what the Socialist 'rats want you to do. Then the "stupid (and/or ignorant) voters" they control will rule without interference. Don't give them the satisfaction of chasing you away.

In 2012 it has been estimated that 7.5 million Americans who would likely have voted Conservatively did not vote. Had they done so 'bama would have been thrown out of office, and we wouldn't have nearly the problems we have today. That's one of the greatest tragedies of today, that Americans abandoned America in it's time of greatest need. Let's not let it happen again with Hilly or whoever the 'rats nominate for 2016. Not voting is surrender.

We can change things - if they push us hard enough. It will be called the Second American Revolution. I'd rather see it done peacefully through the ballot box, but we can do it otherwise if they try to take the country from us. That's why they're trying SO hard to disarm us.

So I hope you will continue the fight. Surrender is not an option when it comes to our beloved country.

OH REALLY? What part of WE voted for O'Bammy I or O'Bammy II? So far, and I've asked many folks over the years, I can't find anyone who voted for him. I assume, now, I've found ONE since you said "We folks" [:0][:0]

He has deliberately led the US on this path because he thinks we are a bad country. And now the world rues our absence. It will get worse. Europe, Japan, and China are plunging. Ever think that fielding a candidate that 40-50% of your constitutes can't stomach might have something to do with it?
Sorry but I consider voting for 'the lesser of 2 evils' wasting my vote.

I agree we need a better candidate than McCain or Romney - but we also need to select a candidate who can win.

As much as I like some of them, I personally don't think Donald Trump, Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, or several others can win.

I remember here in Az 25-30 years ago seeing guys standing at freeway exits with signs saying, "Bo Gritz for President" - whoever he was. Talk about wasting ones vote!

Right now I like Scott Walker, if he can successfully run the gauntlet. We'll see.

If our fathers and grandfathers, the so-called "Greatest Generation", who faced incredible demented evil on the beaches of Normandy, the sands of Iwojima, and everywhere in between, and saved civilized humanity from dictatorial oppression, could see what an absolute cesspool their progeny has led our once great Constitutional Republic into, they'd be spinning in their graves.

As a Vietnam veteran, I salute and extend my gratitude to those very few among us who still have the conejos and temerity to stand-up and defend the Constitution against "all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC" (that means YOU, Obama!).

Our nation's so-called "leaders" have no clue what it means to wear the uniform and defend our Republic and our way of life against the insane psychopaths who are hell-bent on destroying us.

What we have is the result of the majority voting for the perceived lesser evil, rather than voting based on principle.
