Is this the ugliest lever action ever made?

Why on earth would you do this to a lever action? I could live with just about everything but that horrendous stock and all those rails.

Dang, I can't wait to get my 336 done and let you guys see a common sense "tactical" lever gun.

They could have designed their own "tactical" adjustable rifle stock that better fit the style of the rifle. This one looks like they hired a plumber to mate a collapsible stock to a lever action rifle.

Not only is that the ugliest lever action I've seen, it's one of the ugliest firearms I've seen.[xx(] Mossberg dropped the ball big time on this one.

Saw it in person at the Harrisburgh show a few weeks ago. Ugly as hell. The stock serves no purpose. An adult can't fire it with the stock collapsed unless they were shooting from the hip. Forearm is uncomfortable with all the rails on it. Comes in 30-30 and 22lr. Pistol caliber would have been a good idea.

I did like their Maverick HS-12. Over/under Tactical shotgun.

The trend is to follow what people like, and the things they're learning to like come from video games. Eventually the Fallout game series of gun style will take the stage and guns will look like this:

the only thing that could possibly be considered cool on this eyesore is IF the flash hider is removable, you could attach a .30 Suppressor like the HVT.

You just do not see a lot of suppressed lever action guns, much less a 30-30.

Something the comedian Ron White says in his act regarding someone with a dumb idea or thought that definately applies to Mossberg and some other companies cough, Ruger, cough--"Next time you have a thought....let it go." Some of this tactical stuff has just bordered on ridiculous.

I dont think he would be a "really bad" plumber. Just the fact that they did it and its functioning means they werent that bad.

As far as the rifle......uhhhhh......hmmmmmm...uhhhhhh???? I am a bit confused. It doesnt look like something you could show up to a cowboy action shoot with. Or could ya? I dont know. Its weird!
