It's a colt 4th generation derringer in 22 short.
this is how it came from the factory (framed)!
colt made 112,00 of the derringers between 1959 and 1963.
i don't know how many were framed.
colt offered some framed Lord and Lady derringers in 1970.

So is that frame attatched to that pillow and did it come with it.

the "pillow" is the cushion of a chair in my computer/gun room.
the backing for the gun looks like burlap.[:)]

youre right on about that. this is roll marked just like the functional guns but you cant pivot the barrel.
believe me, I've tried![B)][:(]
like you said, the rest of the mechanics are same as the "real" guns.
I actually was looking for a Lord and Lady set (functional) but saved some $$ buying this.[:)]
