I do quite a bit of it on another auction site. {non-gun related}. No problems.
BUT I would worry about anything gun-related, even something as something "simple" as a scope or firearm hardware pieces. What things are you looking to send/receive?

I sold a WW2 bomber jacket to a guy in England. I was certain that the buyer had a good track record and even did some research on the address and asked questions only a legit citizen would know about the area. This jacket was worth a few grand and it all went well. I insured it and shipped it UPS. It was signed for by the buyer and things went really well.

I think you really have to do your research if you are selling something of considerable value.

    Never purchased from them.

    Good luck!

I shipped a bullet luber-sizer to England last month. Used the flat rate box filled out the customs forms and paid the 43 bucks for it to go. No problems.

ADDED; I asked for an International money order in payment, he sent two fifties and two twenties wrapped in foil as payment. Pretty trusting feller!

i bought a swiss luger from a dealer in the UK. it cost just over 200 bucks US to get the paperwork done on that side and had to be transferred thru a licensed importer here, another $200 here.
what seemed like a good buy ended up costing more than market value.
bought a python from a guy in canada. they are able to privately ship to licensed importer her, but cost another $200 on this side.
i've sent gun parts to the UK and france and australia and received parts from same w/o any issues.
    just my 2c
