    I just got a Geiselle s3g.
My understanding is the only difference in the sd3g and s3g is one has a curved trigger.

I havent shot my mine yet.
It comes with two springs a 4.5# and 3#. I installed the 3# and its scary crisp light and smooth.
Rapid fire should be easy with it.

Did you see the video i posted comparing the Tac-con and Geiselle s3g?
Its a must watch if your looking at the two.

Between the two I'd go with Geissele. It doesn't have the sexy 3rd click, but seems to work better. I decided to go with the Geissele SSA-E, the conservative side of me decided that since the 3 gun trigger is for competition use, I wanted something designed out of the box for great performance designed for combat/defense use.

For the same reason I would not install a Glock 3.5 lb trigger in a carry gun. There is enough liability in using deadly force, adding a part against manufacturer's warnings is not what I am looking for.

    I haven't installed it yet.

    Yep

The s3g came with lots of warnings. Basic saying to only use for 3 gun matches.

that video is what got me looking at the gieselle. i was planning to buy the tac-con but looked into the gieselle triggers and was impressed.
curious why the tac-con got all the press and ATF discussion while giesselle just quietly goes about making their product, that has similar performance.?

    about the SD3G/SG3 vs their other triggers, like the SSA-E shilow mentioned;
I don't need a 3G setup. just want to be able to send a lot of lead downrange fast.

sounds like the SSA-E might be a better choice for me.

    anyone shooting with one?

    opinions??

    thanks

I think Tac-con got all the hype cause of the 3rd selection switch.

At the show I must have asked 20 dealers if they had a Geiselle in stock and only one did.

He had two and someone tried to buy both while i was paying for the one i bought.

The dealers i talked to said they have had trouble getting Geiselle in stock.
It looks as if the Tac-con hype is causing alot of Geiselle triggers to be sold.

I think some of the tricked out ARs the military uses Geiselle also. The MK something or other.

For competition use, Glock does not recommend, in fact warns against using 3.5 lb triggers in any self defense or duty gun. As i recall in the last Armorer's school I attended a couple years ago the Glock Instructor said that Glock no longer manufacturers any pistols with 3.5 lb triggers(do to liability), that they have gone to the 4.5 lbs and 5.5 lbs triggers. You can't even get a new Glock 24 with a factory 3.5 lb trigger.

PSA had the SSAE in stock on sale for $220 with a lower parts kit and free shipping yesterday when I ordered mine.

They are showing out of stock now. Their prices appear to be the same as everyone else, but perhaps you stumbled onto a
    deal.

It was one of yesterday's deals. It's been there before and will be on special again eventually. I'm excited to try the trigger.

I think the SSA-E is a better target/match trigger than the S3G, but it's for my 9mm colt
and i have lots of 9mm to spray![;)]

What am I missing here? Why try to "super-tune" an AR?

An AR is not a precision rifle. Load it, shot it, clean it, put it back in the safe.

    That's a good day.

My reason for the trigger is to go from.......

    Pew pew pew pew

    TO

pew Pew Pew Pew Pew Pew.

Plus that's what men do, modify things for the better.
