there's a sticky up there about supporting our brave men an women in the military far from home.
you get to send a cup of coffee and a msg to an overseas troop for 2 bucks. the troop can use the $2 gift for other :treats" like smoothies, snacks etc.
you know, the stuff you take for granted being here stateside.
ever drink mess hall coffee? lived for a month on MRE's? I have, and it sucks.
but, i find it interesting that only 200 or so have even READ the post!
C'mon people. take a look at it.
scroll down the post and read the emails i just got today from overseas.
if you have another way to show support, post a link in the sticky.
i have no connection to the coffee deal. i just know the troops appreciate the thought.
thanks!

well, anyone can buy the power heads for them, online.
the heads fire on contact pressure and don't require the full rod mount to function.
most all are stainless steel and in calibers from .223 to .50 bmg and 12ga are available.
this interests me, because one variation of the pen guns used by the CIA (allegedly) were pressure sensitive and VERY illegal for you and me to own.
but anyone can buy one of these powerheads.
can you say "home made assassins weapon"?
i just think it's interesting......
Hurts your ears, even a .22.
A 45 ACP worked fine for me, just happened to be what I made and used. MilSpec ammo is pretty much waterproof. Not so much so for shotgun shells.
A 50BMG? Going whale hunting?
Easy enough to make.
Not sure as to how legal or illegal to own.
yeah, but i thought that thing was a compressed air cattle killer. (???)
i was interested in that too, but looked like it would be hard to conceal. [:D]
can't post competitor firearms sales
google "beco"

could be. it sure was interesting looking.
i'm just going by what one of the locals told me (cow killer thingy)[:I]
You didn't watch No Country for Old Men ?
that was an air powered cattle killer

I hate you for that.[V]
exactly!
here ya go
I would like to examine some of these bang sticks up close, maybe see if one could be mounted on the end of a short walking stick. T'would be one heck of a close-range self-defense device. Boogy-man comes up, demands wallet, you poke him in the chest and, "SURPRISE!"
More fun to poke him in the nads.
