Trap, Skeet, Clay Pigeons

What is the difference? I have heard people say, "No, I only shoot trap, not skeet."

Are the targets the same and just the method is different? Or are they different targets too?

I would have guessed it to be more gamey than trap.

Skeet shooters have to wear pink To-Tos.

I've shot both skeet and trap - even on the same day - and I swear that those I pick up - all have the same size.

It's a scam, it's all just clay targets.

Same with regular CocaCola and Diet Coke (Coke light)

There's nothing "light" about the Diet Coke - they both weigh exactly the same.!!

Trap are more difficult to pluck, but much more flavorful than skeet.
Trap are also native to the mid-south and are way more plentiful. (for me, anyway)

Those clay pigeons, however have to be pressure-cooked for a long time to make them tender enough to eat, and then there is not very much flavor.

Trap shooters lack the intellect to spell Tu-Tu...... let alone hit hard left to rights [;)] [:D][:o)]

Callcameron, you got blew off on this post but shoot me an email or post in comp shooting for a better answer. I shot trap as a kid, just took up skeet, and they are the same size target but a much different set-up and method. Both are better than sitting on your butt watching TV though. [;)][;)]
