Is a Henry about the cheapest .22lr lever gun out there? Or are there any cheaper? What's them ruger .22s that look like a lever action 10/22?

...Good friend had the shortened youth model and hated it. No accuracy at all. He's very demanding, but if it could be tweaked, he could do it.
love my Henry, just got it, butter smooth action, nice wood.
I told you you would like it [:)]
I like 'em. I think after fixing my car and making another purchase, I might have enough left... Is the golden boy worth the extra cash over the basic model?
I'd say it is only if you like a little flash (bling)? No, that ain't right, the brass gives it a very traditional (flash) look.
And yes I have one.

I'm thinking about going with the plain one. I like the loading mechanism better, since I can use the same speed loader I use for my marlin 60. Quick question, does it feed 22 shorts reliably? Would be a good pest gun and I can pop off shorts in the back yard. Now to decide if I wanna go full size or get the youth model. I'm not a youth size but I love handy little guns.
Buy a browning BL22 with the 33% lever throw. You will love it. About 400 to 500 dollars but well worth it.[;)]
They are a hoot to shoot. +1
