That's why the little label says to drink plenty of water.

    I suggest LOTS of water.

    Tomorrow's word:Dulcolax
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Combine alcohol with the acetaminophen that's in those and you'll have fun crappin' out your liver one of these days.

Many of the conservatives got torn up working for a living or fighting some useless war so the liberals could sit in some air conditioned office or at home on there rear ends and complain.

Tex, when the Doc put me on the little white devil pills, I stuck to pints of hot rooibos with plenty of honey.

Liver damage related to acetaminophen/alcohol consumption is a little talked about but not uncommon problem. Hit google for an idea of what I'm talking about.

I've witnessed the result of this. It's a sleeping giant that may not come into play for quite some time, but when it does it's beyond bad.

I'm on Vicodin and Fentanyl, but it does not work.
    Next is Neurontin, then Methodone.
Then I think it's called radio frequency ablation.
After that, just learn to deal with it, I guess.

I only take one when I absolutely have to. So I am not "drugged up all the time."
Unlike the usual libturd who is stupid all the time and there is no pill to change that.

It is quite apparent you would be well served to try some hydrocodone, might I suggest a bottle at a time, inserted rectally?

I have found that there is a long list of things that I do not want to happen to me, and I add to that list on a regular basis.

I have also met a whole bunch of people who have told me, "I never took so much as an aspirin, until..."

I agree that a few of the above posts are a bit unseemly, but you seem to be forgetting that everything you have is a gift, including your health.

I think your wife, as a nurse, would agree that it is not a prudent thing to do, to taunt people with medical problems.

    Bad juju, somehow.

    The universe is ultimately just.

    Good post.

I share your concerns, though, about such widespread, chronic, and heavy use of narcotics. Let's be honest here: hydrocodone is just a few carbon atoms away from heroin. I fear that many Americans are simply accepting becoming drug addicts instead of taking other measures to control pain.

I know there are people out there who have no recourse left but chronic use of narcotics, but I also know that companies have lead long-term and heavily-funded campaigns to get regular doctors to prescribe narcotics in ways they never used to.

Pain is a symptom, not a disease. treating the disease causing the pain is preferable to just deadening the pain. some pain is telling you to not use a joint to let it heal, killing the pain may cause further damage by over use. I think people over do pain meds.
