Isolated Systolic High Blood pressure....

It is where there is a large separation between the top and bottom numbers with blood pressure. Does anybody have it?
My mother who is 78 just had four bypasses done, but the top number on her blood pressure is still too high. Here is a good article on it.

    Could be the meds she's on. Good idea to cut the salt for HBP.

    My Mom is 78 also and just had 2 stents put in. Her blood pressure has been high after the surgery and they just started her on extra blood pressure medicine.

    The heart doctor told my Mom anytime her blood pressure goes over 190 that she needs to take an extra half pill. Also the doctor told my Mom to not let her blood pressure go under 140.
