If we someday have a big gunbroker get together, we may have to skip the heavy equipment obstacle course.

Whoa, how much laxative do you have to take to offset all that oxycodone?
In spite of a capfull of Clearlax, more than two oxycodones stops me up cold.
Got an L3-4,4-5 & L5-S1 decompression in October and if there is an improvement it's marginal.
Surgeon thinks 6 more months should show an improvement and if not, another diagnostic MRI will be done.

I operate heavy equipment like this sometimes. I also do electrical and welding on meds. You cant tell if i take anything or not.

Oxycontin was 48.00 in Dec and Jan it went to 315.00. Oxycodone went from 15 or 20 to 55.00. Time release Morphine is 50.00 for 60.

Been on my pain meds for 5 years and still get a buzz, but I dont take alot and dont abuse them. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dont.I dont drink anymore because they were taking away the effects of the pain meds. I asked the Dr. why the pain meds were not working and he asked me what I took them with. I said usally a manhatten or two. I got the dumb look[:D] So now I dont drink.[:o)]

Never had one in my life, and hope I never need them either.

My back is shot, but so far I just deal with the pain and try and keep going. I have been offered meds several different times, and just the other day one of my docs wrote me a scrip after I told him I didn't want anything. He said to keep it in case, that it would be good for 6 months,.....I shredded it when I got home.

I'm not putting anyone down by any means,.....if you need them, you need them. Hope it works out.
