I did not even notice, Dan. I do know that my young relatives down in Texas are now caught up in this current event whereas in the past, they paid very little attention to their heritage as I saw it. That's good.
My favorite two monuments of the war are those of North Carolina and Mississippi at Gettysburg. No two monuments that I know of capture the determination and fighting spirit of the southern people better than these two.
As works of art and free expression thy must stand.
If your advocacy group sues on that basis, you will win.
And many of these are true works of art.
I think if folks get a chance to see the beauty through the average camera lens, they will have to agree.
All Roman statues need to be gone.
Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Indian (whoo whoo kind) Irish, British, could all be offended by some part of our history.

yes, the "Jo Mama" section makes GB libs look like right wing fanatics. You have to be a member to view, and not be banned (oopsie) I'm banned from that section.
But for the most part, if you stick to motorcycles and riding, great bunch of guys and gals. They post up wonderful photos and stories. From young to old, the stories and pics are amazing.
This confederate topic over there gives a better than media view of the places under attack. Some of the photos are breathtaking.
