are vacation this year was ruined by layoffs. We wanted to take the 8 and 3 year old boys to disneyland this year. O well maybe if work straitens out we can still take them two the twin cities and go to valley vair.

Family land is way more relaxing than Noah's Arc. The casino is just outside of town. There was a dog track there but not sure if it is still operating.

Last time I was there, we rode a bunch of wood rollercoasters that were really cool. You can't miss them!

I have driven 2000 miles w/ my family in the past- to Dis, boat ride, beach. Spent allotta $.

We have gone 300 yards away, camped out at the river w/ our friends. The children played hide-and-seek, we sang songs and told silly and scary stories around the campfire, ate "s'mores" until we nearly puked.

Guess which one they talk about more?

Don't worry about Disneyland, your not missing anything except overpriced admission and overpriced food! 5 years ago I lived 5 minutes from Disneyland -I used to see the fireworks everynight from kitchen window- and I don't miss the traffic, mexican gangs, asian gangs, and all the other crap in So. Cal. The other poster that said go camping and ate smoores is right. Disneyland is just bad memories!
