Exactly, and for an 82-year-old, I think he did a pretty good job.

He's Clint Eastwood. He even impresses Chuck Norris. [:D]

I thought it was great. I can guarantee the Libtards will tear him down as being senile and racist..blah blah...he's 82 years old!!! I found it quite entertaining, though I cringed a couple times, but that's his job, to make people a little uncomfortable. It is apparent that he loves his Country, and is very upset at the condition it is in.

I've heard some on here comment about Yahoo's Democratic slant but didn't pay that much attention. On Clint's speech I didn't watch it live but this morning I did note Yahoo had the small ads on my homepage which were listing his speech as "odd", "wierd" and "incoherent"

Politicians used our Clint. They'll use anybody, any thing, and even any natural or unnatural event to further their aims. They'll attend as many churches as possible as elections near, thereby even USING THEIR OWN GODS TOO; praying to their individual Gods that it's all for the best. Remember, they are of the opinion that no matter what happens, that THEY AND THEIR KIND WILL SURVIVE TO SAVE US. (Is that plan to evacuate U.S. leaders to that remote mountain cave still in effect?)

Ditto, keep in mind the man is in his 80's. I'm sure his mind is working faster than his mouth anymore. My Dad (who was a brilliant eng) is the same way. He know what he wants to say, just takes a bit sometimes.

I don't know why people are giving him a hard time. The Presidents chair HAS been empty for the past four years...[;)]

Maybe that's one of the reasons the head honcho at Yayhoo got canned.

The empty suit was coming up.

i also will not watch or listen to any of the DNC democrap BULLS#IT, all they will do is lie, demagogue and fearmonger, something they have done for the past 100 years.., or more. [}:)]

It was painful to watch Clint's speech. The man is an icon, a legend and its sad to see a legend start to fail. The same fate awaits us all.[V]

Missed the speech as I have refused to watch any of the convention. Found it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoqKdWY692k

Was sad watching him; but I can hope I can do that well at 82.

It was sad in that respect. I suspect his passing will rival that of John Wayne's to a great many Americans.

I thought it was good to see someone speaking from the heart at the podium of a national political convention rather than parroting what a study group and writing staff tailored for the event.

It's funny how many these days don't know how to take it when they see someone who chooses to not simply deliver a teleprompter reading.

No Teleprompter Ad-Lib from an 82-Year Old! And the Empty Chair was BRILLIANT!

Yes, it is sad to see a Lion in Winter, but that is what awaits all of us who live so long.

Great to See/Hear from Clint. May be his Last Hurrah, and a Great One at that!

The empty chair bit served its purpose, and it was a great hurrah at that, be it his last one or not. The wife and I thought that a small slim table with a box of crayons and a coloring book would have been a grand touch as well.

I missed it totally,.....I remembered to tune in right as Romney was taking the stage.

I heard that Clints bit was hard to watch from a few folks today though.
