When I am searching and I select Semi Auto Pistols for example(It does it with all searchs).

Then I go to the manufactures and select: See All.

I look through them and the select: JP Sauer and Sohn

When I click on it the page kind of "jumps" up and I have to scroll down and select it again. When I do its is fine.

This happen to anyone else?

Thanks

edit.

Now its not doing it?? I Xed out the Auction side then signed back in. Maybe it was just a gremlin.

I just tried that and it worked fine. What browser are you using?

    I use Fire Fox.

It is not doing it now and it only happens when I have been on the auction side for a long time(Like an Hour or more) doing searches.

Problem is that it takes at least an hour or so to do a search because you get thousands of results for most items you enter. The vast majority of which have nothing to do with what you are looking for.

I suggest that you READ the tutorial on the new search engine. It will help you immensely.

If you have specific question, open a support issue we have people that will be glad to help you work through your particular issue.

In general start in a category and then search. A good deal of the problem is sellers that are filling their descriptions with garbage words not related to the listing which the search engine finds. It will take a while to teach the sellers how to properly list things.

Above the top of the results there is a line that starts with filters. If you are starting a fresh search (and not refining your existing results) make sure that you hit the clear all or the GB logo at the top to clear the existing search out.

The booklet for the IRS 1040 form is easier. This last time I was looking for 5 or 10 round M1 carbine magazines. Even with the only filter I found I got over 400 results.

I've had it happen about half of the time when selecting either a model or caliber. I only use a lap top with Frontier from home, no mobile stuff. It just jumps up a bit when you're selecting something, then stays put on the second time. My only complaint at first with the new setup was that I kept clearing all selections when looking at a certain model until I realized that just hitting the back button allowed me to change a model or caliber. Kinda like it now..

I am with you Toad, I like the new set up. Even the jumping thing was really no big deal I figured it was some bug that would work out in the 1st few months.

It didn't and I was wondering if it happened to anyone else.

The crazy damn thing is, its not consistent.

I will try what the CPT stated.

I was able to witness this behavior last night. However it is not reproducible consistently... that means it may take a while to track down and correct.

I am glad you saw it, now I know I'm not crazy(or at least crazyer).

Good luck on finding the fix. Something that small and stupid will probably cost 500K and 500 man hours to track down[;)]

I passed it on to QA to diagnose and come up with a solution. We will see what they find.

The problem that I noticed was that it was so irregular when it happens....FWIW, 90 percent of my browsing is at S&W revolvers...
