New Year's Day traditions

My wife says we have to have corned beef with black eyed peas and corn bread for New Year's Day meal. Says it's been a tradition in her family and she doesn't want to break it. Do you have any traditions for New Year's Day that are g rated that you can share?

    usually cooked cabbage and pork loin, starting a new tradition today, I want a nice big steak at least an inch thick.......[:p]

    Here its pork an sauerkraut. But I mixed it up threw in hot dogs an a kalbsa. got to many teens here to feed [:D][:D][:D][:D]

    Blackeyed Peas.....Chollard Greens, and fried Hog Jawls.....Chollards cooked with "Fat Back"....going to 8 o'clock mass and pray for all the folks on GB including all the non believers....Roll Tide, Roll![;)]
