Wouldn't it be nice, and make sense, if there was some sort of realistic recourse against anyone recently elected to public office, largely because of a particular position or hot topic (i.e. 2nd Amend, Abortion, Stem Cell)that they claimed a particular stand for, and was the deal maker/breaker among the public, only to do a 180 and effectively spitting in the collective face of the very people who put them in office, and goes right on advancing an agenda that, until now, was unknown. Maybe have them sign some sort of affidavit, as well as making them personally FINANCIALLY liable, to reimburse all campaign donations. Yeah, yeah, dream on butt-plug....I know, but it would be nice
