The explorers Lewis and Clark preferred dogmeat to any other meat available on their expedition. I've eaten it once that I know of. Nothing objectionable about it.

I had some aso (dog) when i was in mindanao,surigao. Tasted very heavy-greasy, and i didnt know what i ate until after i finished the bowl.

I think I have. Last week, went to Olive Garden and had their Italian meatballs.

Ate dog in the Phillipines, good tastes like goat. The best was barbequed monkey meat at Cavite City, Phillipines. Had alley cat in Rhode Island right next to squirrel, you can't tell the differance. During WW11 we subsisted on horse meat.
