    Tax eaters are the most prone to hubris in my experience.

    They all have it before they officially become tax eaters and then when surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of their own ilk it just becomes a way of life.

    Basically, those with extreme hubris would rather be all-powerful or have you believe they are all powerful rather than live any other way.

    This is why they are prepared to die convincing you they are all-powerful.
