If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
I went 4, 4 and 6 hundred for yours....
yeah that was a good deal, what do you figure in cash value, 1500?

I figured the super grade was worth $2500 here at auction. My guns were not.[:D] All 3 of my guns were damn near mint. so I figued 6,6, and 5. But he was the one wanting those pretty lever guns.

He got the 3 bottom guns in this photo. I think you got the 20ga. browning above them, didnt you?

Did you kiss him before you.....well you know. [:D]
Is there that much of a premium because it's a 1948 gun?
I don't know anything about the model 70, but I see them on the auction side for 12-1500 with leupold scopes.
regardless, I think you both did well.
anytime you can get 3 guns for 1 is good! and I'm partial to 94's

I dont think you are seeing "Super grades" go for that. I sure dont. You might be confusing them with standard grade M70's.[;)]...oh, and I didnt get 3 guns I gave 3...[:D]

Cartrod, not to sound like an *, but why do you put your rifle on the tile floor? Aren't you afraid of scratching the blueing? Or denting the stock?
Its not like a drop the gun on the floor and then spin it around into position....[:o)] Travertine makes a better back drop than carpet IMO.
maybe these are different;

I know you gave the three guns, I was just thinking the other guy is happy to get 3 for 1.[:)]
Good trade for both parties if you are both happy.
