Pecos....I would go there before moving there. Get Rosetta Stone. I do not think anyone there speaks English. And I am serious.
Pecos is a pretty small nasty town. Crime is like it is everywhere being this close to Mexico. Meth, Drug running, People smuggling, kidnapping, and car theft.
Just an FYI...if you go there, the name of the city is not pronounced "pay-cose"...it is pronounced "pay-cuss"
