Three for three?

Hello,
Rarely do I get to make two hunting/shooting trips in a year. this year I went to Wyoming to shoot prairie dogs. On that trip I took my Ruger #1 in 22-250 and My Marlin 17HMR model V-17. On the second day of shooting prairie dogs the bolt handle on my Marlin broke making the rifle useless. On the third day the locking lever on my Ruger #1 came loose and fell off while I was walking to change shooting locations. At least I could still use the #1 by holding the lever with my right hand.
Last week we went to South Dakota on a pheasant hunt. I have several shotguns to chose from but took my 12 gauge Ruger Red Label. On the second push the ejectors stopped working correctly and ejectors/extractors got past the shells several times which is a real PIA to fix in the field with pheasants flying over you.
Am I a jinx or what?
Both the Ruger #1 and the Red Label have to be returned to Ruger for repairs. Marlin does not have factory repair service center anymore and farms the work out. I repaired the bolt handle by brazing it back in the original position. Seems better now than the original cheesy silver solder factory job.
