Microsoft Edge vs Google Chrome

Bought a new Widows 10 pc a couple of months ago. Loaded on Chrome because I liked it so much with XP but Edge seems to be quite a bit faster. The Norton extensions slowed me down with Chrome on XP but not with 10. Should I keep Chrome on machine as backup or dump it? Would go back to XP in a heart beat(even w/o support) If it had the speed of Win 10.

    And the winner is...Firefox.

Install Firefox. Then the add-in called I want fees to go uper Ultimate (not I want fees to go up+) and you'll have lightning-fast page loads, no ads of any kind, and many times better privacy than either edge or Chrome.

Ah, the GB censor strikes again, I see. Petty and petulant little bastid that it is. Please read as A*d*B*l*o*c*k*e*r))

I used to be die-hard Internet Explorer fan but slowly faded away from it. Seems Edge browser takes most of the bad habits of I.E. without the benefits (like active-X). Chrome is ok, and if you have an android phone they work well together account-wise.

Ultimately, I like Firefox the best now, along with the I want fees to go up plus including "element hider" which lets you manually hide really annoying pages it misses with the automatic function. I have since installed FF on my phone and use it there as well.

I know, mine and most answers here were like asking which is better, ford or chevy and everyone tells you dodge (or whatever else).

I'd try firefox but Google has one really positive part. Sign up with one of their services, like Gmail and you will be automatically logged into all of their other services.

Like play, maps, translate, and zillions of others.

Why do I like google,, other than their stock,, I'm lazy and hate to change.

    firefox
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Windows 10 SUCKS hundreds of glitches and "you can't do that".

Firefox makes it tolerable but just barely.

Nothing says you can't use Firefox and Gmail. I do.
