I bet it don't pull 1/4 as hard as a Permit of the same weight.
COld water too.
Still,I always fished trout with 3-5# test,lookin to get more bites.
I have fished trout with 2# line but,nothin steelhead,Laker,or Brown trout size.
I'm talkin Native brookies and Rainbows..
