But I can't figure out how to add a photo. I clik the "insert image" button, and this [img][/img] appers. How do I get my photo in it? It won't take a cut and past and I can't find directions anywhere.
Thanks for any assistance.

if you have a picture from your computer you would like to upload, you host it on an upload site and take the img link and paste it in between the [.img] link here [./img]

heres a video that should help you a little
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XuITTRSt-Q

if your picking one from say google, right click the photo and hit copy image url and then paste the link in between the same way as above

    CKPW1,

That's because it's on the Ask the Experts forum in the Sticky list at the top of the page:

    http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=259294

If you run into problems, send me an e-mail or post the question on Ask the Experts.

    Best.

Man, did the army design that process? That is tedious! Never mind.
Thanks for the info, I do appreciate it, but if you don't use the insert image button why is it there? Computers just kill me.

    CKPW1,

It took me about 15 minutes to write and type that sequence.

The actual placement of an image in a message takes me about 15 seconds. This is a classic case of taking longer to read the instructions than making the image show up correctly.

The tediousness of the process is based on how folks don't read or understand directions, so I wrote out every line item so they would not have to assume anything. There are some folks who take to computers naturally or easily while other fight it tooth and nail. I am neither, I work with computers all day, every day but I have to work at understanding the processes.

If you need help, e-mail me and I'll lend a hand.

    Best.

I did go to the Ask the Experts page and read it, then got lost in hunt101 photos for a while just looking aroung at the funny photo's. Thanks for your help. I'll figure it out. Other forums I can post directly from my computer, so this is quite different, and I am an old dog!

Not being able to post directly from my computer is the only big drawback to GB. Sounds silly but it is the main reason I don't do selling on GB. But I do a crapload of buying.[:)]
